NY- Medical Director- Chief of Geriatrics Division
We are the leading provider of Geriatric Services We are seeking a BC geriatrician to lead our dept. and serve as medical director for the Center for Aging. Position requires strategic leader to guide the divisions 3 nursing homes; office based practice; inpatient service; Transitional Care Unit; assisted living facilities and other affiliations within the community. The division has major teaching role in the system's primary care residency program. Opportunity exists for clinical research.
QUALIFICATIONS
MD/DO; Board certified in geriatrics. Previous leadership experience strongly preferred. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with a diversity of personalities. Approachable and effect presentation skills Strong organizational skills Advocates for the needs of patients and physicians. A champion for quality and maintaining standards of care for community and national standards
