There is an excellent referral system. Compensation increase on a average of 3% per year and is based on performance evaluations reviewed by board.* JOB TYPE is Permanent/Retained Employee, Full-time* WORK SCHEDULE is 8:30 - 5:00 Monday-Friday. NO CALL SCHEDULE, NO HOSPITAL VISITS. A NURSE AND A SECRETARY IS ASSIGNED TO EACH PROVIDER. * LICENSE and EDUCATION required is an application for or possession of a New York State license, DEA#, CPR, PALS, ACLS. * JOB DESCRIPTION: Outpatient only. Average daily patient load is 15-20 patients per day.
PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE MEDICAL SERVICES FOR ADULTS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR SEX, ON CONTINUING BASIS BY PERFORMING THE FOLLOWING DUTIES. OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED:* Review patient chart/record for allergies, medical problems, medications, and immunization status.* Elicit and record information about patient's medical history.* NOT REQUIRED to perform labs. All required labs may be sent out.* Examine patients for symptoms or physical information.* Order or execute various tests, analysis, and diagnostic images to provide information on patient's condition.* Analyze reports and findings of tests and examination, and diagnoses condition of patient.* Administer or prescribe treatments.* Determine and prescribe medication, dosage, and schedule given the patient's condition and allergies.* Discuss any possible side affects to medication or immunization with patient.* Prescribe and administer vaccinations to immunize patient from communicable diseases.* Promote health by advising patients about diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease.* NO REQUIRED surgical procedures commensurate with surgical competency.* Refer patient to medical specialist for consultant services when necessary for patient's well-being.* Document the patient's visit including medical history, physical exam, diagnoses, and plan of action.* Follow up with patient regarding progress in high risk or emergency cases.* Conduct physical examinations to provide information needed for admission to school, consideration for jobs, or eligibility for insurance coverage.* BENEFITS PACKAGE: COMPLETE
