Description: Health Care Choices is hiring Internist/Family Practice (p/t 24hrs or 8hrs) right now, this occupation will be delegated in New York. HealthCare Choices is looking for a Internist/Family Practice 24hrs or 8hrs a week who will perform physicals for HR applications, handle the medic! al needs of residents, coordinate with shelter staff about high risk cases, coordinate services with outside primary physician, and provide shelter residents with training surrounding significant medical issues. Internist/Family Practice will be supervised by a primary physician and work in collaboration with a nurse coordinator and psychiatrist. Internist/Family Practive should be comfortable and willing to work with an EHR.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Board Certification in Internal Medicine required. Degree as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy, license and current certification to practice medicine in New York State. Eligibility for full and unconditional participation in the Medicare and Medicaid programs plus Initial and continuing eligibility for DEA certification.
