Nurse Practitioner- Long Term Care (LTC)Adult Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner to work as primary care provider at Terrace View! , ECMCs new long term care facility. Full-time preferred. Will join fellowship-trained geriatrician Dr. Rob Stall and team of other providers to cover 390 beds including 60 subacute care beds. Competitive compensation package. Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited school. Board certified as a nurse practitioner with current New York State licensure. Skilled in traditional nurse practitioner disciplines of patient assessment and management. Two years previous hospitalist, emergency medicine or urgent care experience or 1-3 years experience as a practicing nurse practitioner in family practice, orthopedics or general surgery. ACLS/PALS certification. Working Conditions: Prolonged standing periods Moderate physical effort, including assistance to the disabled patient in transfers to and from wheelchairs, exam t! ables, bathroom etc. Associated health risks related to patien! t exposure including body fluids and needles Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
