Job Description:
Facility is a community hospital with just under 80 beds.
Open ICU with Intensivist on consult
All specialties available: Cardio, Pulmonology, GI, GU, Neuro. Neurosurgery, OB,
Pediatrics, Surgery, Ortho, Interventional radiology, MRI, Sleep lab
Med-Peds, ABFP, ABIM
Comfortable with C-section deliveries
Comfortable with neonatal emergencies and resuscitation
PALS, ACLS and NRP certifications
Average 16 encounters per 12 hour shift
Only 1-2 Pediatric admissions per month
Night load: average 4-8 encounters per 12 hour shift
Coverage: Day 7a-7p: one Med/Ped plus one Internist/FP (double coverage)
Coverage at night 7a-7p: single Med/Ped
Schedule: block shift: 7 on and 7 off (we are flexible)
14-16 (12 hour! ) shifts per month
