Internist - Physician - (Internal Medicine) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Practice Physician needed in a New York City outpatient clinic for a job opportunity starting in June. This opportunity offers a Mon-Fri 40 hour work week. The provider must be well-versed in a Primary Care setting.
Internal medicine (locum tenens) is a branch of medicine characterized by an emphasis on treating the whole body, rather than specialized focus on one body part of system. Many people use internists as their first point of medical contact, and in this way these physicians function similarly to primary care doctors. Internists are trained to treat and diagnose a wide range of illnesses that affect the entirety of the biological system. When an illness proves to be advancing, exotic or complex, internists will usually refer their patients to specialists.
Required Qualifications
NY licensed Internal Medicine or Family Practice (OUTPATIENT) needed - 06/03 - Ongoing. Hours: 9:00a ! - 5:30p. BE/BC, 15 - 20ppd, 100% schedule, Adults, PEDs, Adole! scents seen. General Primary Care Cases Seen: Provide medical services to patients with developmental disabilities in a multi-disciplinary team environment, Sick & Well visits and Physicals. EMR Charting: NEXT GEN
