Jewish Home Lifecare, one of the largest and innovative providers of facility and community based long term care in New York, is currently recruiting for staff physicians! . The Jewish Home Lifecare system includes three facilities in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester County with a system total of 1800 beds. These facilities have active rehabilitative programs and discharge over 2000 patients annually. The system is also a leader in professional geriatric education and research. We are able to offer a unique quality of long term care medicine due to our full time on site medical staff.
We are looking to add to our existing medical staff of over 20 full and part time physicians. Currently, we are seeking a part time evening (5:00PM - 9 PM) physician for our Manhattan facilitie.
Seeking Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner. Geriatric medicine long term care experience desired but not required. Responsible for admissions, discharges, physician orders and management of acute and chronic medical problems in academic Nursing Home facility, in Manhattan’s Upper West side.
MD Degree from a medical school r! ecognized by the NYS Board of Regents
Current NYS Lic! ense Registration in good standing
Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner preferred
Two years hospital experience preferred
Geriatric/ Skilled Nursing facility experience preferred
