Full-time position â€"
Seeking Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner. Geriatric/NH experience desired. Responsible for admissions, disc! harges, physician orders and management of acute and chronic medical problems in a Nursing Home facility, in Manhattan's Upper West side.
Duties will include management, diagnosis and treatment of sub-acute population. Work hours will be flexible, any 8 hour shift between the hours of 9 am to 6 pm. Will be required to work a 1pm -9 pm shift per month and carry the on-call MD phone to handle evening coverage.
Skills/Requirements
MD Degree from a medical school recognized by the NYS Board of Regents Current NYS License Registration in good standing Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner required Two years hospital experience preferred Geriatric/ Skilled Nursing facility experience preferred
