The Jewish Home Lifecare system includes three facilities in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester County with a system total of 1800 beds. These facilities have active rehabilitative programs and discharge over 2000 patients annually. The system is also a leader in professional geriatric education and research. Seeking Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner. Post-Acute medicine experience desired. Responsible for admissions, discharges, physician orders and management of acute and chronic medical problems in academic Nursing Home facility, in Manhattan’s Upper West side.
MD Degree from a medical school recognized by the NYS Board of Regents
Current NYS License Registration in good standing
Board Certified Internist or Family Practitioner preferred
Two years hospital med-surg and post acute experience preferred
Geriatric/ Skilled Nursing facility experience preferred
