Full time and part-time position with an academic faculty appointment for an Internist or Family Medicine Physician at the Einstein, substance abuse treatment program in the Bronx, NY. Dynamic opioid pharmacotherapy site provides on-site primary medical care, including HIV and Hepatitis C care, integrated with substance abuse treatment. New state-of-the-art facilities and multiple innovative programs in place for the delivery of care. Role includes direct addiction medicine, ambulatory care, participation in quality improvement activities, medical staff oversight and opportunities for teaching, research, and participation in grant-funded projects. Colleagues include a fantastic group of primary care internists, family physicians, and physician assistants dedicated to providing high quality care to an under! served, urban patient population. Relationship to Montefiore Medical Ce! nter (MMC) and academic department (AECOM and MMC) well established.
Job Requirements:
Experience in ambulatory care essential. Experience in substance abuse treatment and HIV care is preferred. Board eligibility required. Full benefit package including malpractice coverage, health insurance, life insurance and matching pension plan.
