The Role
Our client is looking for an experienced and reliable Driver to join their team based in Glen Iris Melbourne.
Responsibilities would include
- Responsible for safe and efficient delivery of equipment to and from customers' sites daily as directed by the transport manager
- Providing instruction/demonstrations to customers to ensure safe use of equipment without damage to persons or the equipment itself
- Basic care of company vehicle
- Building and maintaining relationships and rapport with key customers as the face of the business on site
- Safe loading /unloading/restraint of loads on/off company vehicles
- Completing all delivery/collection tickets with utmost accuracy using software provided
- Occasionally assisting with customer service and yard maintenance if and as required
Skills/Experience
- Current C class driver's license required (Manual license is advantageous)
- Mechanical experience is advantageous
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Strong work ethic and can-do attitude
