EG develops industry-specific software solutions that run on an IBM Power platform, with OS IBMi. At EG, we take responsibility for their overall solution, both the application and the underlying infrastructure. In our department, we take care of the customer's infrastructure. You will be part of a strong team of dedicated iPower specialists, where you will be part of a very close collaboration with the 4 colleagues, who all work exclusively with the Power platform.
Your everyday life consists of activities both at the customer's location and at EG. You are expected to be part of all the diverse activities related to Power infrastructure. You will participate in presales work, where you must advise on the technical setup that can support the customer's business. Implementation and transition projects for platform upgrades or changes are also handled by the team. In the work with day-to-day operations, you must help to ensure that we live up to the service targets agreed with our customers, just as you will be an active player in our continued development and growth.
The best match Professional profile:
- Proven experience with IBM i /IBM Power management, including HMC, VIOS and BRMS.
- Experience with High availability setup. We use QuickEDD
- Experience with design and customer advice.
- Experience with IT service processes and preferably ITIL Foundation certified Personal profile:
- You are service minded and good at communicating with customers.
- You are outgoing and committed in your collaboration with customers and colleagues
- You are a team player.
- You seek knowledge and have analytical skills.
