SCOPE OF POSITION
In Ballad Health, the IT Program Manager is in overall, end-to-end charge of the program, from shaping the approach to achieving the desired outcomes through delivery. The IT Program Manager shall manage multiple large-scale programs that consists of 2 to 5 projects within each program. Each program has components of Ballad Health Strategy implementation, COPA/CA implementation, and/or integration implementation. The Manager will work closely with key executive leadership and operational leadership to bridge the vision of the program to implementation at the operational level. This individual shall collaborate with the EPMO project manager, the facilities/construction project manager, operational excellence, and/or vendor project managers to ensure the project/program stays within timeline, scope, and budget. Overall, the IT Program Manager will coordinate projects and resource management within the program. The IT Program Manager shall have additional duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Healthcare, Business or Computer Science, as well as be PMP certified. Master’s Degree Preferred. In addition to education, 7+ years’ experience in system support, design and analysis or successful demonstrated performance in a position of similar duties is required.
  • Must have demonstrated successful performance in management of complex projects.
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, along with providing exceptional customer service.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing multiple concurrent large or complex projects including vendor selection process.
  • Demonstrated expertise in creating and maintaining project deliverables: project charter, project plan, status reports, estimates, communication plan, reports, risk management plan, budget, schedule, and milestone/deliverable charts.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing issues, scope, and quality while bringing projects to successful completion within the cost and time requirements.
