The Partner (Employee) Brand team is responsible for establishing new ways to reach and engage partners (employees) to build brand engagement, pride, and advocacy. The manager, Partner Brand will support on development of new channels to reach partners, bring to life brand narratives and creative strategies to engage partners. They will write strategic briefs, work closely with creative teams, and develop cross functional, omni-channel marketing activations designed to reach partners. This manager should be able to leverage product plans, data, and insights to understand our partner audience and execute with a high attention to detail. In this role, the manager will build trust-based relationships with their peers in Public Affairs, Partner Product Strategy and PRO (HR) to effectively achieve shared goals across projects.

As a marketing manager, Partner (Employee) Brand, you will...

  • Support on brand and content strategy across multiple channels to drive increased engagement with current partners
  • Develop and execute omnichannel marketing campaigns from strategy through to execution, measurement and reporting
  • Brief creative teams and work with internal teams on traditional and non-traditional marketing and communications tactics
  • Contribute to building a new function, joining a team in high growth mode

We'd love to hear from people with:

  • Strategic planning experience within the marketing function in a large scale corporate or agency environment – 5-7 years
  • Experience with marketing campaign and project management – 5+ years
  • Functional brand, digital and content marketing expertise - Progressive experience in marketing strategy development, communications planning, and implementation.
  • Strong communicator - Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Ability to confidently present objectives and desired outcomes to leadership and cross functional teams. Consistently uses communications and presentation skills to influence outcomes. Ability to influence others without authority to get things done in a timely fashion.
  • Problem solving and creative thinking - Ability to think creatively. Ability to problem-solve and drive towards resolution. Ability to evaluate creative and marketing programs against strategy.
  • Fostering creative excellence – Provide creatives teams with the equipment and insight they require to develop world-class advertising and marketing initiatives that live up to the Starbucks standard.
  • Project and process management skills - Ability to manage time and budget effectively, including balancing multiple priorities to meet deadlines. Ability to identify or implement systems and process improvements.
  • Cross-functional collaboration - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience leading and/or facilitating cross-functional or organizational groups. Ability to build a level of trust and respect amongst peer group, and recognizes the importance of solid relationships.
  • Change management - Ability to work in a changing environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
