Employee Relations Business Partner [United States]

We are seeking a Human Resources Specialist to join TRINITY’s Human Resources Business Partner Team within the People Operations function. The individual will support the Business Partners by leading routine employee relations processes and investigations through to conclusion. The individual will further assist with the execution of annual processes and initiatives across the HRBP Team. They will support the data needs of the Business Partners by collaborating with HR Operations to build reports that can be leveraged to identify people related trends within the business and provide insights to business leaders. Finally, they will provide HRBP support for a functional area under the guidance of an HRBP.

Essential Functions

  • Research and resolve routine employee relations issues including but not limited to performance management, employee disputes, and employee complaints.
  • Conduct investigations in a timely, thorough, and neutral manner to gather facts, identify root-cause, assess policy or other violations, and provide recommendations for corrective or disciplinary action.
  • Provide consultative guidance to managers and employees on routine employee relations matters.
  • Tactfully mediate disputes.
  • Ensure appropriate, high-quality documentation is created and compliant with established HR Operations processes and relevant employment laws.
  • Assist the HR Business Partners in the project management and execution of annual processes, initiatives, and projects.
  • Support HRBP strategic initiatives such as people plans, M&A efforts, etc.
  • Partner with HR Operations to create reporting to support the data needs of the HRBP Team.
  • Provide HRBP support to a functional area under the guidance of an HRBP.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Bachelors degree.
  • 3-5 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of legal requirements associated with day-to-day people management.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint.
  • Ability to act with a high degree of integrity, professionalism and maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal & customer service skills.

Trinity’s salary bands account for a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets and market demand for skills; level of experience and training; specific qualifications, performance, time in role/company, geographic location, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $90,000 – $110,000.

In addition to your base salary, you will also be eligible for an annual discretionary performance bonus.
